Fashion and home retailer TK Maxx is opening a new store in Cardiff in an investment creating 40 jobs.

In what will be its 14th outlet in Wales, its latest store at the City Link Retail Park, at Newport Road which will open later this year.

The new store will extend to more than 22,000 sq ft,  the letting deal means that City Link Retail Park is now 100% let.

The park is owned by UK & European Investments, which over the last two years has been repositioning the park away from its once focus on the bulky goods market to it current retail format.

Other tenants at the out of town retail park, which extends to 142,000 sq ft, include Aldi, Costa Coffee, Poundland, Iceland and Pep & Co.

The arrival of TX Maxx will see the number of jobs at the park increasing to more than 190.
