Founded in Sweden in 1943, IKEA owns and operates 351 stores in 46 countries.

In the UK, IKEA opened their first store in Warrington in October 1987 and now have 18 stores countrywide, with a further 4 IKEA Superstores in the pipeline.

CSP assist IKEA in the acquisition of small format stores in cities where they have been unable to identify locations for superstores.  The requirement is for between 10,000 and 50,000 sq ft in prime shopping locations, either in or out of town.
