News / Costa Drive Thru, The Works and Card Factory Join Line Up at Croft Retail Park

Universities Superannuation Scheme, advised by Curson Sowerby Partners and Avison Young, has agreed terms with Costa Coffee, The Works Stores Limited and Card Factory at Croft Retail Park in Bromborough on the Wirral.

Costa Coffee has signed a 10 year lease on a 1,800 sq ft drive-thru restaurant. This replaces a former car wash and the new restaurant incorporates a drive thru lane, dedicated parking and outside seating.

The Works has signed a 10 year lease on a 2,396 sq ft unit and Sportswift Limited, t/a Card Factory, has also signed a 10 year lease on 2,396 sq ft.

Stuart Burdon-Bailey at Curson Sowerby Partners comments, “We negotiated the surrender of a Carpetright store and sub-divided the unit to secure lettings with quality retailers, who complement the exiting retail offer.  We also negotiated the surrender of a lease on the existing car wash, in order to accommodate Costa Coffee, who are a very welcome addition and increase footfall yet further at the Park.”

Croft Retail Park is a 450,000 sq ft retail and leisure park, located on the A41 New Chester Road, 4 miles south of Birkenhead. The Park is adjacent to a large Asda supermarket and occupiers include Odeon, M&S Foodhall, H&M, Next, Outfit, Superdrug, JD Sports, The Range, Argos, Sports Direct, Dunelm, Boots, Poundland, Mothercare, Smyths Toys, ScS, Currys PC World, DW Health & Fitness, Frankie & Benny’s, Pizza Hut, 24/ Fitness, Gala Bingo, Subway, Nando’s and Harvester.
