News / CSP takes care of Vets4Pets

Curson Sowerby have recently been retained by Vets4Pets to acquire prominent roadside units which benefit from car parking for 4-8 vehicles.

Local/district centres anchored by convenience retail, modular/pod units on retail parks and future development opportunities are also considered favourably.

Vets 4 Pets are seeking to expand their current portfolio of practices by c. 25 new units per annum, the majority of which will be standalone units of c. 1,500 – 2,000 sq ft.

The practices operate under a Class D1 planning consent which is in the majority of cases not contentious with local planning authorities. Furthermore, this is an alternative use which will drive further footfall to destination locations.

Vets 4 Pets were founded in 2001 and were subsequently acquired by Pets at Home in 2013. The group is now the largest small animal veterinary group in the UK, comprising approximately 446 practices located either within Pets at Home stores or as standalone units.
